Privacy and support for the Nuhaya and Ruwwad apps
Last updated 7 September 2026
Nuhaya does not collect your data. There is no server, no account, and nothing is sent to us. Everything the app stores stays on your device.
This policy is short because there is little to describe. That is deliberate.
All of it is on your iPhone or iPad, in the app’s own storage:
If you have agreed in your iOS settings to share analytics with developers, Apple gives us aggregate, anonymous figures — how many devices installed the app, how many opened it, crash reports. We cannot see individuals in that, and it is Apple’s measurement, not ours. You can turn it off in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
Nuhaya is intended for use by children under the supervision of a parent, and is built to comply with COPPA and the UK and EU rules on children’s data.
The app collects no personal information from a child. A child’s first name and age band are entered by their parent, stay on the parent’s device, and are never transmitted. Because nothing is collected or shared, there is nothing to request deletion of from us — but see below.
Neither requires contacting us, because we hold nothing to delete.
If the app ever gains a feature that changes any of this — syncing between a family’s own devices through their iCloud account, for instance — this policy will be updated before that feature ships, and the date at the top will change.
